A WebGL website for a venture builder: nine companies sit inside one glass atom, and moving between them is the navigation.
01 / 04
ATOM Global is a technology holding and venture builder with nine companies across AI, blockchain and immersive technology, from Neuro Design to Biometric Suit. Instead of listing them, the site builds them into one object: a glass atom where every venture is a node.
Pick one and the camera flies to it and opens its card; the way back is the same flight in reverse.
The scene runs on Three.js and React Three Fiber inside Next.js. The glass is custom GLSL: multi-pass refraction, transmission, reflections and chromatic dispersion.
Camera moves, transitions between ventures, the interface and the sound play as one continuous sequence, so the site feels closer to a title sequence than to a corporate homepage.
On load the site measures what the device's GPU can handle and sets resolution, pixel density, materials, post-processing and model detail to match.
Geometry is compressed, models carry several levels of detail, heavy assets arrive after the first frame, and touch screens get their own controls. A laptop and a mid-range phone see the same scene at a different cost.
