The storefront of Brownfox, an independent type foundry: live type testers, glyphs drawn on canvas, and a shop that sells fonts under a detailed licensing system.

Brownfox is an independent type foundry making Latin and Cyrillic typefaces, used by organisations including Miro, Epic Games, World Chess, Yandex and the Bauhaus Archive. Its site is both the catalogue and the shop: more than twenty families, each with its own specimen, weights and licences.
We built the whole frontend: the UX, the animations and the tools that let a visitor judge a typeface before buying it. Type testers set any text in any weight and size, live, and glyphs are rendered on canvas so a single letter can be looked at as closely as the designer drew it.
Around them sit trial downloads, a cart, content in two languages and a licensing system that prices desktop, web, app, video and social use separately.
On the backend we built the pieces a shop cannot do without, including PDF invoices rendered for every order, so a studio buying a licence gets the paperwork its accountant needs.

A rough idea, a half-finished brief or a problem you can't name yet is enough to start. Tell us what you're working on — we'll come back with questions, not a sales pitch.
